Building Consent Authorities (BCA’s)

HIANDRI Solutions Limited would like to draw BCA’s attention to the following points:

HIANDRI is a ‘Codemarked’ product and system, and as such is an Acceptable Solution under the Building Code and therefore:

1. Must be installed to the specification in the current version of the ‘Installation Manual’ provided on our website www.hiandri.com
2. When council staff carry out inspections, they cannot alter, change or ask for additional products or fixings to be used.
3. Like all Codemarked systems, it is important to remember, that in the event that council staff change the requirements set down in the ‘Installation Manual’, the CODEMARK is negated, it then becomes council ‘Specific Design’ ; hence the importance of the above statements.

The installation of HIANDRI bottom plate packers will:

1. Reduce the need for re-inspections
2. Assist the BCA to programme workloads
3. Significantly reduce the liability risk of future claims
